Inspired by the underground country outlaw movement Maidens Sorrow started off in Sept 2011 with the intention of being a cowpunk/country band with plenty of cowbell. Founded by Bob Tul (Klinefelter, Liquored Up, Daddy Ate my Eyes, Years of Aggression and more), the band included Rick Kirkman (Cheap ASS Records) on drums and Austin Alviso on bass. The band enjoyed favorable response in both country and punk venues with their fast paced, melodic songs of life’s trials. Along with the trials of life and just circumstances the band has been through several line up changes which at times have included Brian Ritter (Klinefleter, AFD) on Guitar, Chase Silva (Years of Aggression, Mind Infect) on drums and Brian Tingle (Klinefelter) on bass and vocals. When Brian Tingle joined in on vocals the flavor of the band took a decided turn from yeehaw country to more of the hardcore sound which has been equally well received. The band has recently returned to its original line up (Bob, Rick and Austin) and will leave the country behind and continue as a punk band because as Bob says “ whenever you add punk to anything it makes it better.”

All the money made from the sales of music on here will go to help fund the Sk8fest events that we do every year in Ione Ca at Howard Park with Bob Maiden.
